Illinois State Police and Des Plaines firefighter/paramedics responded 6:35 PM Friday to motor coach bus fire on westbound I-90 at the Des Plaines Oasis. Illinois State Police Troopers and Des Plaines firefighters reported a fully-involved bus fire with passengers evacuated safely.
Lanes two and three were shut down. Traffic was passing through on Lane One and on the left shoulder.
The fire was under control by about 6:55 p.m. Firefighter/paramedics were checking all passengers for their well-being.
